The subject of this song is self explanatory! This melody seemed to pop into my head every now and then when I was really happy about something. One day I said, damn it, I'm going to arrange and record you! I opted for no lyrics as I wanted this song to have more of a raw instrumental feel. Words would get in the way of the listener's own definition of joy.

The song has a very medieval melody style. I had just received my commissioned lute from luthier Lawrence K. Brown and was just learning how to play it. Luckily, I didn't need to be a master to accompany myself on this one. The lute gave the song an even brighter sound, some authenticity, and a lot of personality.
